About Sally Stubbs
Sally Stubbs has a talent for seeing the beauty in commonplace things which many people are too rushed to notice. At age eleven, she won her first photography award, and has favored photography ever since. Progressing from her first Brownie camera to her current digital Canon 5D, she has polished her skills through seminars and courses at the International Center for Photography in New York City; the Corcoran School of Art in Washington, DC, and at the Houston Center for Photography. A native Texan, she holds a bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas.

Sally is a member of Women in the Visual and Literary Arts; Texas Photographic Society; Spacetaker; and the Houston Center for Photography among other arts and photography-related groups. Her black-and-white and color photographs have won honors in local, regional, and national juried shows.
